We run a mixed herd of Limousin and Black Angus cows. Limousin, an exotic breed originally from the Limousin region in France, are known for their muscular build, feed efficiency, ease of management and comparable calving ease to other breeds. Limousin cattle produce the leaner cuts of beef that have become a staple of the modern market. They generally dress out at 63.4% and boast the highest Rib-eye area. The Black Angus cows are the newest addition to the herd.
