Who We Are

Sandy Acres Farm is a third generation family run farm that has been in operation since 1958. It encompasses 342 acres of land (owned & rented). The primary focus is on beef and hay production. We also offer seasonal vegetables and farm fresh eggs.

Our high quality beef is grown using all natural feed produced on the farm. Presently we have a certified chef on-site if you have any questions regarding your meat or produce purchase. Environmental Responsibilities

Environmentally friendly land stewardship is in everyone’s best interest and is something we continue to strive for. In 1992, Sandy Acres Farm was recognized by the Thunder Bay Soil and Crop Association as a Soil and Water Conservation Farm because of our efforts on farm waste management. Our close proximity to the abattoir helps reduce our carbon footprint as we don't have to transport the cows any farther than we have to.

Sandy Acres Farm also maintains 18 acres of untouched marsh and wetlands. This property includes 2 ponds and an abundance of waterfowl, plants and wildlife.
